"Massive armies": I think Napoleon is bigger but i can't say for sure, it's been awhile since i played.As you’ll know there are different government types in Napoleon: Total War, each with their own benefits and downsides.
The biggest campaign in Napoleon i think only has 4 (Britain, France, Prussia, and Russia).if that's wrong, my bad, but it's nowhere near the amount of Empire. "Lots of clans": Empire has more to choose from. "Good campaigning": Empire is bigger so better for really long, world domination, campaigns.
It seems to me that Creative Assembly decided to fix the poor AI of Empire and Napoleon by going the far opposite direction with Shogun 2 I hated Shogun 2 because the AI cheats so bad. I've heard that Darth Mod fixes Empire's AI but i've never tried it myself. Having played all TW games except Rome 2 onward, i can say that if you are expecting Shogun 2 type AI then Napoleon and Empire will be a bit of a let down. Well the AI in Empire isn't so great, it's a little better in Napoleon. So I was wondering between TWE (with Darthmod) an NTW, which one is better. I'm total new in the Total War games, I bought just a couple of weeks ago Shogun 2, and I fell in love with this franchise. You have very little room to do what you want in the campaigns. As France, you need to make your way to Moscow and take over Austria and Prussia on your way there. However, the campaigns have little replay value since you are forced to complete a series of objectives. The game has barely any glitches/bugs and the graphics are amazing.
